That's when they discovered the cancer. Since then, I've had several surgeries and procedures and now I'm undergoing chemotherapy.<br /><br />I was lucky in several ways.<br /><br />The important thing is that I'm slowly recovering and getting stronger month by month. A year from now, I intend to be healthy, stronger, and cancer-free.<br /><br />So, why do I keep talking about "a year from now?"<br /><br />It's because I believe that -- once we decide to make a change in our life -- we can accomplish some major results in as little as a year from when we make the decision, as long as we work on it regularly and with determination.<br /><br />Now that I'm feeling a little better, I'm starting to do a little work now and then.
